Reiki, A well-being method to regain energy

Our daily lives are punctuated by small ailments that we do not necessarily consider worth treating. However, stress, insomnia and back pain affect a large part of the population. Its symptoms are often considered “normal”, they settle over time creating emotional and physical blockages causing deep discomfort. To be well in one's head and body offers more self-confidence. Inner harmony awakens your full potential for beauty and seduction. A relaxation method that relieves tension and soothes the mind while revealing your inner power. I'll tell you more about this incredible method that changed my life 7 years ago.

WHAT IS TRADITIONAL REIKI ?

The Reiki practitioner, thanks to his energetic touch, immerses his patient in meditation. A deep relaxation that allows the mind to turn off. The patient lies on his back. He lets himself be guided by letting go. The magic of this practice is that it is not necessary to know how to meditate. Thanks to the phenomenon of resonance, the practitioner places his hands on specific points of the body. Starting from the head and ending with the feet, all energy centers are cleansed to allow you to achieve deep relaxation. The professional practices a so-called “universal” meditation to help you enter into communion with yourself.

The practitioner feels a special connection with the body and the soul. By following his intuition and sensations, this allows him to know how to place his hand on the part or parts of the body that are suffering. Reiki acts on a knot or tension, whether emotional or physical.

THE ORIGINS OF REIKI

A Japanese therapeutic technique used for millennia. Mike Usui made it popular and spread it in the 20th century. Doctor in theology, he decided to engage in a specific research, that of healing. After some studies of ancient texts without convincing results, he turned to Buddhism. Mikao Usui discovers through various Buddhist writings that Buddha would also have carried out healings. During his study, he discovered that methods using symbols and hand positions could bring healing.

Without explanation, nothing precise allows him to develop a method. He will therefore fast 21 days on the sacred mountain of Mount Karuna. On his last day, sounds and visions of symbols and the method of using them come to him.

He quickly decided to implement these healing techniques in the poor neighborhoods of Tokyo, thus freeing many sick people. Many of them return to their original state after a few months, thinking they have failed, the words of an old monk come to him. The latter warns him that healing the physical body by neglecting the spiritual part does not work. After meditation, he discovered spirituality and integrated it into his method. Now, Reiki treats the patient as a whole, physical, emotional and spiritual body.

WHO IS REIKI FOR ?

Everyone can practice Reiki because it is simply about freeing the body and mind from daily tensions. Reiki is able to treat a headache, a lack of motivation, as well as psychosomatic pain. Most patients consult because of stress and burn-out. The recommended number of sessions is generally 4 in order to rebalance the body in depth. For some, it will just be one session. It all depends on the needs of the patient. Some come back when the discomfort returns and, as the sessions progress, the practitioner goes back to the source of the problem. Reiki is particularly useful for unblocking bad energies such as stress and anxiety. A practice also used in hospitals in many countries such as Brazil and Australia, to help patients between care as well as at the end of life. Each therapeutic session is different and adapts to each patient, the effects of which are different from one person to another.

ARE THERE ANY CONTRAINDICATIONS TO REIKI ?

A large number of people are looking for methods to get better in their lives. Reiki is a personal approach which consists of engaging one's entire Being towards well-being. There are no contraindications) as long as you respect the advice of your doctor in the event of psychological fragility.

Reiki is a therapeutic method which in no way replaces medical treatments. Reiki is a support technique to help the patient overcome moments of suffering in order to develop their “inner light”.

I hope to soon have the chance to transmit this beautiful energy to you,
